time to sail.

I used to blog a lot when I was younger. Okay, I'm still pretty young. I've wanted to get back into this for some time, but there are two things that stop me.
1) Do I have anything important to say?
2) Will I actually keep up with this?

I figure I can always just delete this whole thing if it doesn't work out. It wouldn't be the first blog of mine to be deleted. Anyways, I'm just a girl who loves the Lord, wants to be used by Him, and a girl who realizes how broken, and desperate I am without Him. Just a leaking vessel really. We all know that if a boat is leaking, it is useless. Useless, yet not without potential. Useless, unless someone fixes it, and refines it. Then it sails. Sails to places no one could ever guess, on a journey no one could ever plan. So here I am, a leaking vessel, but slowly and surely, the Lord is refining me, purifying me, healing me, and taking me on the journey of a lifetime. Time to sail.

"Seek the Lord while He may be found; call upon Him while He is near. Let the wicked forsake his way and the unrighteous man his thoughts; and let him return to the Lord, and He will have compassion on him, and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon. 'For My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways My ways,' declares the Lord. 'For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts higher than your thoughts. For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return there without watering the earth and making it bear and sprout, and furnishing seed to the sower and bread to the seater; so will My word be which goes forth from My mouth; it will not return to Me empty, without accomplishing what I desire, and without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it. For you will go out with joy and be led forth with peace; the mountains and the hills will break forth into shouts of joy before you, and all the trees of the field will clap their hands.'" Isaiah 55:6-12 NASB

"For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you ail perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus." Philippians 1:6 NASB

Following Him is exciting stuff :)
